EXPLORE OUR SERVICES

Before entering chiropractic school, he worked in Vermont and Colorado’s ski racing industry as an alpine race and conditioning coach. During this time, a serious spinal injury from ice hockey left him with chronic pain, limited mobility, and breathing restrictions. Conventional medical treatment offered little relief, but chiropractic care led to a complete and rapid recovery—an experience that inspired his career path.

He went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon, completing elective sports medicine internships treating triathletes and soccer players in both Portland and Sunriver.

After graduation, Dr. Chamberland founded Catamount Chiropractic in Colchester, practicing within The Rehab Gym physical therapy center. Six years later, he joined Gifford Medical Center, where he spent more than a decade at the Sharon Health Center’s multidisciplinary sports medicine clinic, collaborating with physicians, podiatrists, therapists, nurses, and athletic trainers to provide integrated, evidence-based care.

Patient-Focused Treatment

At Alignwell Chiropractic, Dr. Chamberland focuses on non-surgical treatment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions, injury prevention, corrective rehabilitation, and performance optimization. His philosophy emphasizes prevention, education, and holistic health strategies to reduce reliance on medications and invasive procedures.

The doctor of the future will not provide medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.”Thomas Edison (1903)
